Ole Miss drops three spots in Coaches Poll after loss to Georgia

OXFORD, Miss. — Following their 43-35 loss to Georgia, Ole Miss has dropped three spots to No. 8 in this week’s Coaches Top 25 rankings.

The Rebels traveled to Athens this past weekend to take on Kirby Smart’s Bulldogs, and went toe-to-toe with them until the fourth quarter. After scoring touchdowns on their first five possessions, Ole Miss was unable to score in the final period. They were also unable to stop Georgia.

There are ten SEC teams in this week’s poll: Texas A&M (3), Alabama (4), Georgia (5), Ole Miss (8), Oklahoma (11), Vanderbilt (12), Missouri (14), Tennessee (17), Texas (18), and LSU (19).

Next up for Ole Miss, the Rebels will travel to Norman to take on the Sooners. Kickoff time is set for 11:00 am, and the game will be broadcast on ABC.
