Kickoff Time Set for Ole Miss vs. South Carolina Showdown at Vaught-Hemingway

OXFORD, Miss. — Ole Miss fans, get ready for another night game in the Vaught!

The Southeastern Conference has announced kickoff details for the Rebels’ Week 10 matchup with South Carolina. No. 8 Ole Miss (7-1, 4-1 SEC) will return home to Vaught-Hemingway Stadium on Saturday, Nov. 1, with kickoff slated for 6 p.m. CT on ESPN.

The prime-time meeting marks the Rebels’ first home game in three weeks after a two-game road stretch that ended with a 34-26 victory at No. 11 Oklahoma. Lane Kiffin’s squad has been nearly unbeatable in Oxford, entering the contest with a perfect 5-0 home record this season and an 11-1 mark at Vaught-Hemingway over the past two years.

Quarterback Trinidad Chambliss, who earned his first SEC road win over a ranked opponent in Norman, will look to continue his impressive run leading a Rebel offense that ranks among the SEC’s most explosive.

Meanwhile, South Carolina (3-5, 1-5 SEC) comes to Oxford looking to regain its footing after a challenging stretch under head coach Shane Beamer. The Gamecocks notched a 35-13 win over Kentucky in late September but have dropped conference matchups against Oklahoma, LSU, Missouri, Vanderbilt, and Alabama.

Ole Miss and South Carolina last met in 2024, when the Rebels dominated in Columbia with a 27-3 victory at Williams-Brice Stadium.

Saturday’s matchup gives the Rebels a chance to extend their home winning streak and solidify their position in the SEC Championship and College Football Playoff race.
