
Ole Miss Continues to Climb in Coaches Poll Top 25

OXFORD, Miss. — On Saturday, the Ole Miss Rebels took away a nail-biting 41-35 win over the Arkansas Razorbacks in the SEC home opener at Vaught Hemingway Stadium. And on Sunday, Lane Kiffin’s team moved up two spots in the Coaches Poll to No. 11.
Ole Miss was propelled by transfer quarterback Trinidad Chambliss who made his first career division one start.
Chambliss showed out in his first start as a Reb, going 21-for-29 with 415 total yard (353 passing, 62 rushing), including 3 total touchdowns (1 passing, 2 rushing), without an interception as Ole Miss did not have a single turnover for the first time this season.
With this victory, Ole Miss has risen two spots in the Coaches Poll and is one of twelve SEC teams featured in the new rankings on Sunday morning: Georgia (3), LSU (4), Texas (7), Texas A&M (10), Ole Miss (11), Oklahoma (12), Alabama (14), Tennessee (15), Missouri (22), Vanderbilt (23), South Carolina (24), Auburn (25)
