Interview: Knox Kiffin discusses Ole Miss, life in Oxford, and previews LSU

Oxford, Miss. – Knox Kiffin joined our podcast on The Rebel Walk YouTube channel yesterday afternoon and talked about a variety of topics, his move from Southern California to Oxford, his thoughts on the LSU game, and Lane’s social media antics.

To start, the Oxford High student reflected upon his dad taking the Ole Miss job in 2019 and shared his thoughts.

I liked that he could get back into the SEC. It’s just such a big conference… the rivals and everyone who plays, it was just a step up from FAU.”

In addition to Lane, his daughter Landry, and now Knox, have also relocated to Mississippi. Entering his first fall in Oxford, Knox shared some of the differences from California and why he is enjoying life in the Sip.

I love it a lot. It’s a lot different on Saturdays; of course everyone tailgates… the whole town comes together, and a lot of people come to our games on Friday, which is really cool.

This Saturday the town will unite once again against LSU after losing in Baton Rouge last season. When I asked Knox about the game, Whit Week’s, and the rivalry, he gave me a similar message relating to his dad’s words earlier this week.

Take the over, that’s just what I’m thinking.
