Friday Availability Report: Ole Miss lists two players ‘out’ for game against LSU

OXFORD, Miss. — Ole Miss released its Availability Report Friday ahead of the LSU game, and the Rebels now have just two players on the list: offensive lineman John Wayne Oliver and wide receiver Devin Price.

Earlier in the week, cornerback Jaylon Braxton and wide receiver Traylon Ray were on the list; however, they are no longer named and should be a full go to play.

For the Tigers, they will be without talented sophomore defensive end Gabriel Reliford who will miss the rest of the 2025 season with a torn rotator cuff in his right shoulder, head coach Brian Kelly confirmed. Reliford will undergo surgery next week, and his recovery is expected to take four-to-six months.

LSU could be without key RB

The big news regarding LSU, however, is running back Caden Durham (ankle) is still listed as questionable for the game. His absence would be a big loss for Brian Kelly’s offense if he cannot play. He has rushed for 213 yards and two touchdowns this season.

Durham was hurt in the Tigers’ 56-10 win over SE Louisiana last Saturday and reports are that he has been limited in practice all week. According to ESPN’s Pete Thamel, Durham is still dealing with the injury and did not run well in the team’s final walk-through Friday.

Durham leads the Tigers with 213 yards on 52 carries, while LSU’s second-leading rusher, Harlem Berry, has 87 yards on 15 carries. Sophomore Ju’Juan Johnson is expected to see more action, as will junior Kaleb Jackson.

LSU’s offense is No. 111 nationally in rushing, averaging just 116.8 yards per game. That’s the second-lowest average in the SEC behind South Carolina (80.3).

The next Availability Report will be released 90 minutes before kickoff.
