Rebels Land Impact Transfer Infielder Dom Decker from Murray State

OXFORD, Miss. — Mike Bianco and the Rebels just added another key piece to the puzzle for 2026, as standout infielder Dom Decker, a transfer from Murray State, announced his commitment to Ole Miss on Sunday.

Decker, who turned heads this past season for the Racers, brings a gritty, high-IQ presence to the Rebel lineup. The 6-foot, 205-pound right-hander batted .351 in 2025, notching 16 doubles, drawing 47 walks, and getting plunked an eye-popping 15 times—a stat that speaks volumes about his toughness at the plate.

The Rebels beat out Tennessee for Decker in what became a tight race down the stretch, with Decker making a weekend visit to Oxford that ultimately sealed the deal.

The Racers came through Swayze Field in the Oxford Regional this past May, where Decker got a firsthand look at Rebel Nation and the postseason atmosphere in Oxford—a visit that clearly left an impression.

With Decker on board, Bianco and his staff have now added eight new faces from the NCAA Transfer Portal as they reload for the 2026 campaign.

Decker is expected to bring both production and leadership to a roster looking to make another deep postseason push—and he’ll do it wearing Rebel red and blue.
