Ole Miss Baseball Bolsters Outfield with Clemson Transfer Tristan Bissetta

OXFORD, Miss. — Lane Kiffin isn’t the only one making moves in the portal — Rebel baseball is getting in on the action, too. Ole Miss head coach Mike Bianco has added a new weapon to the Rebels’ roster as Clemson outfielder Tristan Bissetta is headed to Oxford for the 2026 season.

Bissetta, a left-handed bat with both experience and upside, brings plenty of ACC seasoning to the Rebels’ outfield. Despite battling injury for part of 2025, Bissetta emerged as a steady contributor for the Tigers. In 44 games this past season, he hit .298 with seven home runs, seven doubles, and drove in 34 runs — flashing the kind of production that will fit nicely into the Ole Miss lineup.
Across his three years at Clemson, Bissetta appeared in 87 career games, tallying 10 homers, 10 doubles, and 51 RBIs, while carrying a .266 batting average and a strong .377 on-base percentage. Even more impressive: he delivered when the lights were brightest — including a clutch walk-off hit that helped Clemson survive its NCAA Tournament opener against High Point earlier this postseason.
Bissetta also brings defensive value to the Rebels’ outfield mix. In one of Clemson’s early ACC matchups this season, he made a highlight-reel grab against Notre Dame, reaching over the fence to take away a would-be home run.
See you on #SCTop10 Tristan Bissetta!

With SEC pitching on the horizon, Bissetta’s experience in big moments and his ability to drive the ball from the left side should give the Rebels another dangerous option as they continue to retool the roster through the portal.
