Former Ole Miss TE Caden Prieskorn signs with Denver

OXFORD, Miss. — There’s a new weapon heading to Denver. The Broncos have officially signed rookie Caden Prieskorn to their active roster, bringing another big, athletic target into the tight end room.
The move comes as Cole Fotheringham was waived/injured, creating an opportunity for the former Ole Miss standout to make his mark.
At 6-foot-5 and 255 pounds, Prieskorn blends size, experience, and soft hands—a combination that helped him carve out an impressive five-year college career split between Memphis and Ole Miss. Across 52 games, he racked up 112 catches, 1,531 yards, and 14 touchdowns, averaging nearly 14 yards per reception. That’s not just productivity—that’s consistency.
Prieskorn first turned heads at Memphis, where in 2022 he led the Tigers in both receptions and receiving scores. Looking to raise his game against SEC defenses, he transferred to Ole Miss, where he continued to shine in Lane Kiffin’s high-octane offense. Over two seasons in Oxford, he tallied 57 receptions for 850 yards and seven touchdowns, often serving as a reliable third-down target and red-zone threat.
Though undrafted this spring, Prieskorn initially signed with the Detroit Lions as a college free agent. Now, he finds himself in Denver—joining a tight end room that includes veteran Adam Trautman, Lucas Krull, Nate Adkins, rookie Caleb Lohner, and fellow former Rebel Evan Engram.
His arrival brings depth and competition, but perhaps more importantly, it brings upside. Prieskorn is the kind of under-the-radar talent that often blossoms in the right system. With his blend of length, blocking ability, and experience in two distinct offensive schemes, don’t be surprised if he makes an early impression.
For a Denver team looking to reshape its offense, Prieskorn could be a quiet steal. We will keep you posted on all the latest with our NFL Rebels.
