Rebel Talk Recap: Which Ole Miss players will be selected in the 2025 NFL Draft?

OXFORD, Miss. – Kam Wicker and I sat down last night in our latest episode of The Rebel Talk to discuss our overall thoughts on the Ole Miss players who are likely to be selected in the NFL Draft.
While the Rebs had a total of 26 players compete in their Pro Day, only 11 of them were invited to the NFL Combine, making the odds of those in Indianapolis a higher chance of hearing their name called this weekend.
Walter Nolen
Most certainly, out of all of the players, Kam and I believe that defensive tackle Walter Nolen will be the first Rebel selected off the board, possibly by the Cincinnati Bengals or the Philadelphia Eagles.
Here’s why Kam believes Cincinnati might select Nolen with the 17th pick.
“This is a Cincinnati team who’s been begging for a defensive lineman for years… Trey Hendrickson, I don’t know what’s happening there with him, so you kind of want someone like Nolen… He balled out at Ole Miss, and now he’s a first-round draft pick.“

Jaxson Dart
Moving on to the player with arguably the most buzz in the entire NFL Draft, we look at former Ole Miss quarterback Jaxson Dart. In addition to setting numerous records in Oxford, Dart’s draft stock has seemingly exploded through his showcase abilities and interviewing skills.
In the podcast, my prediction has Dart coming off the board early in the second round, despite me obviously wanting to see him picked in the first.
“Jaxson Dart, the guy who can do it all, even in the offseason, he’s firing me up… I think wholeheartedly he’s either going to the Giants or the Browns early in those second-round spots. I hope to God that Dart gets selected in the first… until that draft starts tomorrow night, I don’t know what the answer is.”

Chris ‘Pooh’ Paul
Chris “Pooh” Paul, another fan favorite, is likely to be selected in the draft at some point this weekend. Though it appears he may be available in the later rounds, Kam informed us why he’ll be a day one difference-maker for whichever team calls his name.
“There’s a lot of upside on this guy… solid linebacker coming into Ole Miss, but you didn’t realize the level of intensity you’re going to get from this guy. He is an intense player, he loves to seek the football… this is a guy who doesn’t wear gloves… Pooh Paul I have a third or fourth round pick, he’s one of the best inside linebackers in the draft.“
