Maryland transfer offensive tackle Terez Davis commits to Lane Kiffin and the Rebels

OXFORD, Miss. — Lane Kiffin and the Rebels have been busy this weekend, finishing up spring camp, hosting recruits, and garnering commitments from some of the nation’s top portal players. On Saturday, former Maryland offensive tackle Terez Davis, who visited Oxford this week, made it official, committing to Kiffin’s Ole Miss team.
“Excited to be down in Oxford, let’s go!” Davis told us earlier this week when he began his visit.

The 6-foot-5, 310-pound Davis will immediately bolster the Rebels’ o-line; he’ll have three years of eligibility remaining.
In 2024, the Terrapins’ offensive tallied 3,308 passing yards and 1,327 rushing yards — and in his 10 games played, over 300 snaps, Davis allowed just one sack and two quarterback pressures.
The son of 12-year NBA veteran Ricky Davis, Terez was a three-star prospect, who played for DeMatha Catholic High School. Of course, he also played basketball before ultimately choosing to concentrate on football at the next level.
This is the second player of the day to commit to Ole Miss out of the portal. The Rebels have also captured a pledge from cornerback Ricky Fletcher (South Alabama).
