He is ranked the No. 33 overall player in the state of Mississippi and the 82nd cornerback in the country.
Braylen is another versatile player who has played cornerback and safety — and quarterback. He transferred from Nettleton High School to Tupelo High for his junior year but had to sit out the majority of the season waiting for approval. He was able to join the team in the postseason and helped Tupelo to the Class 7A state championship, the first ever for the school.
The 5-foot-11.5, 180-lb Williams also had offers from Arkansas, Mississippi State, Southern Miss, Louisville, Auburn, Louisiana and Akron, among others.
He joins wide receivers Jameson Powell and Zion Legree as well as running back Ja’Michael Jones in the Rebels’ 2026 class.
