Wise, currently a 3-star prospect, is listed at 6-foot-2, 218 pounds and is rated as the No. 7 quarterback in the state of Texas and the No. 36 QB in the country.
He selected the Rebels over Texas, Houston, Texas Tech, Oklahoma State, SMU and others.
A junior at Westlake High School, Wise shares a history with some other talented Chaparral athletes: Drew Brees, Justin Tucker, Nick Foles, and Cade Klubnik, to name a few, who all played for Westlake.
As a junior, the dual-threat Wise threw for 2,598 yards and rushed for 462 yards. He scored 23 touchdowns through the air and 15 on the ground.
In 2023, Wise led Westlake to a 14-2 overall record with an appearance in the state semifinals. In 2024, he quarterbacked his team to an appearance in the D1 State Championship.
