2026 four-star running back Ja’Michael Jones commits to Lane Kiffin, Ole Miss

OXFORD, Miss.- Ole Miss football fans woke up to a fantastic recruiting update this morning with the commitment of highly-touted 2026 running back Ja’Michael Jones.
After spending the weekend in Oxford for an unofficial visit, it wasn’t long before Jones took to social media to announce his commitment to the Rebel staff. Under Lane Kiffin’s time at Ole Miss, this will be the second Pike Road High School running back to commit to the Rebels in four years.

On the field, the Montgomery, Alabama native proves to be an absolute workhorse. His 5-foot-10, 200-pound frame gives him an elite physical advantage that he pairs with an electrifying display of speed.
It’s also worth noting that exactly one week ago, Jones released his top eight schools, consisting of arguably the top programs in the country: Georgia, Ohio State, Tennessee, South Carolina, Auburn, Alabama, Florida State, and of course, Ole Miss. Despite his early commitment, the recruitment of Jones will not be closed off until pen hits the paper next December on signing day.
