Profiles of the 2025 Ole Miss Transfer Class: Introducing Arkansas offensive lineman Patrick Kutas

OXFORD, Miss. – With the conclusion of the 2025 winter transfer portal window, the Ole Miss transfer class ranks No. 2 in the nation and includes several future NFL Draft picks. As we inch closer to the start of spring practice, The Rebel Walk is highlighting these players and their effectiveness on the field so fans can get to know the newcomers.
To continue, let’s introduce Lane Kiffin’s first offensive line recruit from the class, four-star Patrick Kutas.
Career Outlook
Kutas, a Memphis native played high school football at Christian Brothers, where he became the No. 7 prospect in Tennessee. Before signing with Arkansas, Kutas was heavily recruited by Oregon and Illinois. Kutas spent three seasons with the Razorbacks, gaining a great deal of SEC experience.
Upon entering the transfer portal, Kutas, the No. 1-ranked interior offensive lineman, narrowed his choices to Ole Miss and Alabama before ultimately committing to the Rebs on December 13th.

2025 Impact
John Garrison’s offensive line unit will lose former starters Nate Kalepo, Gerquan Scott, Julius Buelow, Jeremy James, and others, making Kutas’ commitment vital to the success of next year’s group. Between his 6-foot-5, 315-pound frame and his veteran presence, Patrick’s style of play will greatly benefit Ole Miss in their passing and rushing attack.
Pairing the offensive line transfers PJ Wilkins, Delano Townsend, Percy Lewis, and Patrick Kutas with returning players such as Diego Pounds, Jayden Williams, Brycen Sanders, Ethan Fields, and Cam East, Garrison will have plenty of talent to improve his line from the 2024 season.
