The college basketball insider puts Ole Miss as the No. 5 seed in the West region of the bracket, predicting first and second-round matchups against No. 12 UC San Diego and No. 4 Arizona or No. 1 Lipscomb. Some other teams Katz lists on the west side are No. 1 Florida, No. 2 Wisconsin, No. 3 Kentucky, and No. 10 Vanderbilt.

The ESPN bracketologist posted the SEC teams he believes will get NCAA tournament bids, along with the seed they will receive. He projects Ole Miss to be a No. 7 seed and has listed them as a “lock” for the tournament, despite having five games left to be played. The only SEC teams that aren’t “locks” at the moment for Joe are Mississippi State, Texas, Vanderbilt, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Georgia.
