OXFORD, Miss. — Ole Miss men’s basketball hosts Texas A&M Wednesday in the SJB Pavilion in Oxford, and BlueSky is donating $1 to The Grove Collective for every ticket scanned against the Aggies in this key conference game.

We spoke with Ben and David Craddock, whose family owns and operates BlueSky, about their generous donation.

“First off, I would like to thank The Grove Collective for all they do for all our sports,” explained Ben Craddock.

They truly have led the charge in college athletics and have shown how things get done. We at Blue Sky are thrilled to be a part of this event Wednesday night. We truly love Ole Miss and everything about it, so let’s be loud and beat A&M. Hotty Toddy!

Wednesday night’s contest features yet another big-time matchup in the SEC as the No. 16 Rebels (15-3, 4-1 Southeastern Conference) will look to defeat No. 13 A&M (14-4, 3-2).

Such a huge game is a perfect setting for BlueSky’s pledge per attendee.

“We are so grateful for all that Ole Miss has given our families,” David Craddock said.

Watching what The Grove Collective has done over the last few years has been awesome and we have gotten to see their hard work pay off with more excitement around our teams than I can ever remember. The Ole Miss community is not as big as other SEC schools, but we love our university and we are proud to be part of its success.

Ole Miss head coach Chris Beard met with media Tuesday to talk about the game, noting the Rebels will need to get off to a quicker start than they have in a number of their games this season, including Saturday’s overtime loss to State — a game that saw Ole Miss fall into a 12-point deficit in the first five minutes before they fought back to end regulation tied.

“We can’t dig that kind of hole,” Beard noted. “You know you’re going to get a great shot early, a great punch early. We set the game up in 10 four-minute games but you got to hold serve. You got to compete early.”

The Rebels will look for a loud, active home crowd in order to aid their quest of competing early. Tipoff is set for 8:00 p.m., and the game will be broadcast on ESPN2.

“It’s exciting to think about what we’re building here, especially when the students get back for our next home game when classes are back in session,” Beard said back on January 11 after the LSU game. School started Tuesday, Jan. 21 for students, so look for the Pavilion to be rocking.

So get to the SJB Pavilion Wednesday, cheer on Ole Miss men’s basketball in another key league game, and support The Grove Collective through BlueSky’s donation in the process. Doors open at 6 p.m. for students and 6:30 p.m. for general admission. Be sure to arrive early!
