Sam Houston Transfer DB Isaiah Cash Sets Visit to Ole Miss
OXFORD, Miss. — Ole Miss football will host Sam Houston State transfer portal safety Isaiah Cash this Friday and Saturday. He is visiting Virginia Tech today and Thursday, per his social media.
Cash will have one year of eligibility remaining.

Cash announced his intention to enter the portal on Dec. 6 with a post on social media.

“After a lot of prayer and conversations with my family, I’ve decided to enter the transfer portal to explore new opportunities for the next chapter of my journey,” Cash said. “This was not an easy decision, but I’m excited for what’s ahead and thankful for the foundation Sam Houston has given me.”
The 6-foot, 195-pound Cash is currently ranked as the No. 7 safety available in the portal and the No. 74 overall player in the transfer portal, according to On3.
Cash attended Houston Christian University before transferring to Sam Houston. While playing in Huntsville, Texas playing for the Bearkats, Cash notched 58 total tackles (47 solo), nine passes defended, two interceptions, and half a sack.
A native of Lago Vista, Texas, outside of Austin, Cash was a standout at Rouse High School in the class of 2020.
