OXFORD, Miss. – Ole Miss will host Kentucky wide receiver Dane Key for a visit starting on Sunday, December 15th, per Matt Zenitz.
The Rebels are looking to add another outside wide receiver with NFL potential following the departure of Tre Harris to the NFL Draft.
During his three years with the Wildcats, Key totaled over 1,500 receiving yards and caught more than 30 receptions in every season. This past year against Ole Miss, Key hauled in eight passes for 105 yards and a touchdown.
Ranked as the No. 3 WR and the No. 7 overall player at any position in the transfer portal (247 Sports), Key’s large frame and deep-ball pass-catching abilities make him the perfect candidate for Lane Kiffin’s explosive offense. Despite rumors of Key having an interest in schools like Georgia and South Carolina, getting the Lexington native to campus is huge news for the Ole Miss staff.
