Ole Miss set to host Fresno State transfer QB Mikey Keene
OXFORD, Miss. — Ole Miss is expected to host Fresno State transfer quarterback Mikey Keene on Tuesday for an official visit. Matt Zenitz was the first to report the news.

Keene transferred in to Fresno State from UCF and spent two seasons with the Bulldogs. The 5-foot-11, 200-pounder started in 2023 and 2024 for Fresno State. For his performance in each of those seasons, he was named honorable mention All-Mountain West selection each of the last two years at Fresno.
Keene is a graduate who will have one year of eligibility remaining.

Over the course of his two seasons with the Bulldogs, the Chandler, Arizona native led his team to a 14-9 record record. Fresno State finished 6-6 this season.
For the 2024 season, Keene threw for 2,892 yards, 18 touchdowns and 11 interceptions. He finished the year with a 71 percent completion percentage. He was sacked 25 times on the year.
In 2023, Keene recorded 2,596 yards through the air with 21 touchdowns and 9 interceptions. His completion percentage was 61 percent and he was sacked 19 times.
While playing for UCF, Keene started 11 games over two years, finishing 8-3, making his record as a starter 22-12.
While Jaxson Dart will look to further his career in the NFL Draft, Ole Miss returns its presumptive starter at quarterback, Austin Simmons, for the 2025 season. Simmons will be joined by AJ Maddox in the QB room. The Rebels would love to be able to add some experienced depth in the quarterback room.
