Ole Miss football falls one spot in AP rankings
OXFORD, Miss. — After not playing this weekend, Ole Miss fell one spot to No. 16 in the Associated Press Top 25 rankings released this morning.
Back on November 29, the Rebels defeated Mississippi State, 26-14, in the Egg Bowl and then hoped for chaos to occur in order to propel their potential chances of making the 12-team College Football Playoffs. However, not enough dominoes fell for that happen.
There are seven teams in the AP’s final rankings before the CFP Rankings are announced: Georgia (2), Texas (4), Tennessee (7), Alabama (11), South Carolina (14), Ole Miss (16), and Missouri (23).
