Ole Miss Football: 24-hours Ahead of Early Signing Day, Here’s Who to Watch

OXFORD, Miss. – The players in the 2025 Ole Miss recruiting class are within 24 hours of signing their National Letters of Intent. With their 21 verbal commits, Lane Kiffin’s Rebels hold the 16th-best class in the nation, according to On3 Sports, and they look to increase their rank through some potential flips. (Click here for a list of the verbal commits.)

In addition to the verbal commits, here are some players you should keep an eye out on the three-day Early Signing Period.

Where will they land? Players to watch

Tyler Lockhart – Linebacker

Tyler Lockhart is a 6-foot-3, 205-pound linebacker from Winona, Mississippi, who was previously committed to Auburn before he flipped to Mississippi State in September. Despite his commitment to the Bulldogs, Lockhart has continued to be heavily recruited by Rebels’ defensive coordinator Pete Golding and the staff. They have heavily pursued the four-star and are now predicted to land him, according to national analysts at On3 sports. This would be a massive addition for the Rebels’ 2025 class.

Raycine Guillory Jr – Running Back

Guillory is an uncommitted 4-star running back from Aledo, Texas, with several predictions to sign with Ole Miss tomorrow. The Rebel Walk will be on site at Raycine’s commitment tomorrow and will keep you posted. Raycine, who was originally in the class of 2026, reclassified himself into 2025, looking to make an immediate impact on whichever school he decides to attend. He has offers from schools such as Texas, USC, Ohio State, Utah, Miami, and many more.

Winston Watkins Jr – Wide Receiver

Watkins is a highly rated 4-star in the 2025 class who is being heavily targeted by Ole Miss, Texas A&M, Miami, Ohio State, and others. The 5-foot-10, 175-pound stud from Venice High School in Venice, Florida, possesses great speed and loads of potential entering his freshman year of college, working efficiently as a slot receiver with outside receiver talents. This is a key recruitment to watch out for tomorrow.

TI Mims – Wide receiver

Mims is a 3-star wide receiver from Baldwin County High School who has been recruited by Lane Kiffin and the staff for an extended period of time throughout his high school career. Though it was rumored for the 3-star to commit over the summer, he held back his decision and will make his future college official on signing day. Standing at 5-foot-11 and weighing in at 170 pounds, Mims is a player who has a chance to be developed into a fantastic player at Ole Miss.

Deuce Knight – Quarterback

By now, a majority of the Ole Miss fanbase has become familiar with the name Deuce Knight, the lefty gunslinger from Georgia County, Mississippi. Knight began his recruitment by committing to Notre Dame before later flipping to Auburn in October. Though signs point in the direction of Knight signing with Auburn, this is a player who Lane Kiffin has recruited tirelessly over the last year and who he would love to land.

Connor Howes – Offensive Tackle

Connor Howes is an Arkansas commit who Ole Miss has made a late push for in the recruiting cycle. It appears that the 6-foot-6, 295-pound four-star offensive lineman from Osceoloa High School in Kissimme, Florida will likely sign with the Razorbacks; however, there’s no denying that Ole Miss is going to continue to make an effort until his pen touches paper.
