BOOM! Ole Miss lands former All-SEC Arkansas transfer DB Jaylon Braxton
OXFORD, Miss. – Lane Kiffin and his staff have picked up their fourth transfer portal commitment and their second from Arkansas, as Razorbacks’ transfer safety Jaylon Braxton committed Friday night, according to Pete Nakos.
Braxton committed to Ole Miss approximately 12 hours after his Arkansas teammate, tight end Patrick Kutas, announced he would also join the Rebs in 2025.
In addition to playing with Kutas, Braxton may have the opportunity to play alongside another old teammate on his side of the ball, Chris ‘Pooh’ Paul Jr., who transferred to Ole Miss last year — if Pooh returns for his final season.

With three years of eligibility, Braxton has the opportunity to play at Ole Miss under Pete Golding while developing into an NFL prospect. Despite suffering an injury and only playing in two games this past season, Jaylon had a breakout freshman year, being named an All-SEC player in 2023.
The 6-foot-0, 190-pound defender recorded 21 tackles, one forced fumble, and eight pass deflections during his first year as a Razorback. This is an incredible start to rebuilding Pete Golding’s secondary that is losing several players to the NFL Draft this spring.
