Ole Miss moves up SIX spots in the Associated Press Top 25 after 28-10 win over Georgia
OXFORD, Miss. — Ole Miss has moved up six spots to No. 10 in the Associated Press Top 25 released today after the Rebels defeated Georgia handily, 28-10, Saturday. Ole Miss has now risen nine spots in the last two weeks.
The Rebels handed Georgia their largest margin of defeat for the Bulldogs since the 2019 SEC Championship vs. LSU (37-10), and the largest in the regular season since 2018 vs. LSU (36-16).
Lane Kiffin’s team beat Georgia in front of 68,126, the largest crowd in Vaught-Hemingway history. It’s the fourth consecutive game the Ole Miss attendance record has been reset.
Currently, there are nine SEC teams in the AP Top 25: Texas (3), Tennessee (6), Alabama (9), Ole Miss (10), Georgia (11), A&M (15), LSU (21), South Carolina (23), and Missouri (24).
