Ole Miss moves up one spot in AP Top 25 Rankings to No. 9

OXFORD, Miss. — In this week’s Associated Press Top 25 college football rankings, Ole Miss has moved up one spot to No. 9.

The Rebels enjoyed a bye week this weekend after defeating Georgia 28-10 the Saturday before.

In this week’s Coaches Top 25 rankings, Ole Miss moved up two spots to No. 9.

Then-No. 11 Georgia defeated then-No. 6 Tennessee this past Saturday in Athens. Following the loss, the Vols dropped four spots to No. 10, while the Bulldogs move up three to No. 8.

Ole Miss next travels to Gainesville to take on Florida this Saturday with an 11:00 a.m. kickoff. The game will be broadcast on ABC.

There are seven SEC teams in this week’s rankings: Texas (3), Alabama (7), Georgia (8), Ole Miss (9), Tennessee (10), A&M (15), and South Carolina (19).
