OXFORD, Miss. — The fourth College Football Playoff rankings for the season were released this evening, and following a loss to Florida last Saturday, Ole Miss has dropped five spots from No. 9 to No. 14
Ole Miss hosts Mississippi State in the annual Egg Bowl this Friday at Vaught-Hemingway. Kickoff is set for 2:30 p.m.

There are seven SEC teams in this week’s rankings: Texas (3), Georgia (7), Tennessee (8), Alabama (13), Ole Miss (14), South Carolina (15), Texas A&M (20), and Missouri (21).
