After loss to Florida, Ole Miss falls seven spots in Coaches Top 25
OXFORD, Miss. — After a heartbreaking 24-17 loss to Florida on the road Saturday, Ole Miss fell seven spots to No. 16 in the Coaches Top 25 poll released this morning. That seven-point drop is the largest of any team in this week’s rankings.
In a weekend that also saw Alabama, BYU, A&M, and Colorado, to name a few, lose games, there were a number of changes in this week’s Coaches rankings.
There are now eight SEC teams in the Coaches Top 25: Texas (3), Georgia (6), Tennessee (8), Alabama (13), South Carolina (14), Ole Miss (16), A&M (19) and Missouri (24).
Next up for Ole Miss will be in-state rival Mississippi State in the Egg Bowl on Friday.
