After bye week, Ole Miss moves up two spots in this week’s College Football Playoff rankings
OXFORD, Miss. — The third College Football Playoff rankings for the season were released this evening, and following a bye week, Ole Miss has moved up two spots from No. 11 to No. 9.
Last week in the rankings, Ole Miss was No. 11, and tonight’s rise continues to put the Rebels squarely in contention for a spot in the newly expanded 12-team playoff.
There are eight SEC teams in this week’s rankings: Texas (3), Alabama (7), Ole Miss (9), Georgia (10), Tennessee (11), A&M (15), South Carolina (18) and Missouri (23).
