Rebels Release Final Saturday Availability Report: Tre Harris Available; Princely Umanmielen and JJ Pegues listed as ‘game-time decision’ vs. LSU
BATON ROUGE — In Ole Miss’ final availability report that was released ninety minutes before kickoff of tonight’s LSU game, wide receiver Tre Harris is no longer on the list, meaning he is available to play, while defensive linemen JJ Pegues and Princely Umanmielen are listed as ‘game-time decisions.’
It’s huge news for Ole Miss, though not wholly unexpected, that Harris would try and give it a go in his home state of Louisiana. He has been critical to the Rebels’ offensive success this season as he leads the FBS in receiving yards with 885 on the season.
After an injury in the first half of last week’s South Carolina game, Harris did not play in the second half against the Gamecocks. He finished the game with three receptions for 81 yards. Last year against LSU, Harris notched eight passes for 153 yards — and scored the game-winning touchdown.
Umanmielen, a transfer from Florida, missed last Saturday’s game at South Carolina following an injury he suffered in the Kentucky game. Saturday morning news broke that he would be a game-time decision.

Having Umanmielen able to participate against LSU would be huge for Ole Miss. In his five games this season, Umanmielen has notched 13 tackles (five of which are solo), six tackles-for-loss, 3.5 sacks and 5 quarterback hurries.
Pegues has recorded 19.5 TFL and seven sacks in 54 career games for the Rebels and not having his steady presence on defense — and his goal-line prowess on offense — would definitely be a loss for the Rebs. JJ, Chucky Mullins Courage Award winner, has four rushing TDs in 2024.
Offensive lineman Jeremy James and defensive tackle Akelo Stone are not on the final report, after having been listed as ‘questionable’ in last night’s report — meaning they could see action in the game.
Saturday’s Availability Report:
CB Cedrick Beavers – Out
WR Izaiah Hartup – Out
RB Logan Diggs – Out
OL Jayden Williams – Out
RB Matt Jones – Out
DE Princely Umanmielen – Game-time decision
DT JJ Pegues – Game-time decision
