Rebel Recipes: Enjoy Delicious 7-Can Soup as Ole Miss takes on the Sooners

OXFORD, Miss. — The return of fall and football harkens the return of soup season as well. This week, we have a delicious soup recipe. Put it on the stove or in your crockpot to serve up just in time for halftime. Let’s go, Rebels!

7-Can Soup

Ingredients

-1 lb shredded chicken (I use Herdez chipotle flavor located in the meat section of the store.)
-32 oz chicken broth
-1 envelope taco seasoning mix
-1 can red beans, rinsed and drained
-1 can white beans, rinsed and drained
-1 can black beans, rinsed and drained
-1 undrained can mild green chiles
-1 undrained can Rotel tomatoes
-1 drained can whole kernel corn
-Salt, onion powder, and garlic powder to taste

Instructions

1) Combine all ingredients in a crock pot or in a pot on the stove.
2) Simmer for 2 hours, stirring occasionally
3) Serve with shredded cheese, sour cream, and tortilla chips.
