Ole Miss moves up to No. 9 in AP Top 25, No. 8 in Coaches Poll
OXFORD, Miss. — After the Rebels’ 27-3 win over South Carolina Saturday, Ole Miss has moved up three spots to No. 8 in the Coaches Poll and up three spots to No. 9 in the Associated Press Top 25.
Following a crazy day of football that saw No. 1 Alabama, No. 4 Tennessee, No. 9 Missouri, No. 10 Michigan, and No. 11 USC all lose, Ole Miss’ victory assured that head coach Lane Kiffin’s Rebels would move up.
In the AP Top 25, there are nine SEC teams ranked: No. 1 Texas, No. 5 Georgia, No. 7 Alabama, No. 8 Tennessee, No. 9 Ole Miss, No. 13 LSU, No. 15 Texas A&M, No. 18 Oklahoma, and No. 21 Missouri.
Ole Miss travels to Baton Rouge to play LSU this coming Saturday.
