Ole Miss Football Moves Up to No. 5 in AP Poll; Stays No. 5 in Coaches Poll
OXFORD, Miss. — The AP Top 25 and Coaches Poll rankings were released today and Ole Miss moved up one to No. 5 in the AP Poll and remained No. 5 in the Coaches Poll.
This is the first time since Week 3 of the 2015 season that Ole Miss has landed in the top five of the AP poll.
There are eight Southeastern Conference Teams in this week’s AP Top 25 rankings, including: 1) Georgia, 2) Texas, 4) Alabama, 5) Ole Miss, 6) Missouri, 7) Tennessee, 15) Oklahoma, and 16) LSU.
The Rebels defeated Middle Tennessee, 52-3, in the season opener and now prepare to travel to Winston-Salem to play Wake Forest.
