Ole Miss football falls to No. 12 in AP Top 25, No. 11 in Coaches Poll

OXFORD, Miss. — After a disappointing 20-17 loss to Kentucky Saturday at Vaught-Hemingway, Ole Miss football dropped five spots to No. 11 in the Coaches Poll and fell six spots to No. 12 in the Associated Press Top 25.

The Rebels (4-1, 0-1 SEC) travel to Columbia, South Carolina (3-1, 1-1) to take on the Gamecocks this coming Saturday. Ole Miss opened as a 9.5-point favorite Sunday morning.

Currently, there are eight Southeastern Conference teams in this week’s AP top 25, with Alabama taking over the No. 1 spot this week after defeating Georgia: 1) Alabama, 2) Texas, 4) Tennessee, 5) Georgia, 9) Missouri, 12) Ole Miss, 13) LSU, and 19) Oklahoma.
