4-star RB Shekai Mills-Knight Commits to Lane Kiffin and the Rebels

OXFORD, Miss. — Four-star running back Shekai Mills-Knight has committed to Ole Miss! The 2025 talent out of The Baylor School in Chattanooga took to social media on Saturday to announce that he will be running back to Ole Miss.

“I”m excited to win,” Mills-Knight said after his ceremony — followed by a “Hotty Toddy!”

Mills-Knight currently stands as the No. 17 overall running back in the class of 2025 and is the No.6 overall athlete out of the state of Tennessee. His roots are actually from Canada, but he has quickly made a name for himself since his arrival to The Baylor School.

When it was all said and done, Mills-Knight chose to ‘Come to the ‘Sip’ over Miami, Alabama, Auburn and Tennessee — another talented athlete who, with even more development, will evolve into quite the impact player.

Fit in the Sip

Mills-Knight will bring grit and skills to Oxford. From watching him, here are some traits that stand out to me:

  • His ability to stop, and then instantly move to top speed
  • Good vision and field radar
  • Elite swiftness
  • Versatile – Can be used to catch passes out of the backfield
  • Good hands
  • Has solid blocking skills and strong ability to break a tackle

I believe his choice to come to Ole Miss will only unlock more of his potential and be even more of asset to the depth. Welcome home, Shekai!
