BREAKING: Ole Miss RHP JT Quinn enters the transfer portal

OXFORD, Miss. — Ole Miss right-handed pitcher JT Quinn has entered the transfer portal, as confirmed by our sources. Quinn, a rising junior, pitched in 11 games for the Rebels this past season, starting three.

The 6-foot-6, 215-pound Quinn finished the 2024 season with a 1-3 record and 19.1 innings pitched.

In 2023, his freshman campaign, Quinn appeared in 17 games, making 12 starts, tied for second-most on the team. He finished third on the team in ERA (6.83), opposing batting average (.281), strikeouts (63), and innings pitched (55.1). The Tampa, Florida native finished the year with a 3-4 record.

In 2024, Quinn suffered an oblique injury while warming up for game three against South Carolina. That injury kept him out for a month.

With respect to wins and losses, ERA, and numbers of innings pitched, here are the numbers for Quinn and the others on the staff, in order of most innings pitched (those with 19 innings pitched or more on the season):

Ole Miss has added two players to the roster from the portal as BYU transfer catcher Collin Reuter has committed to Mike Bianco and the Rebs, along with right-handed pitcher Will McCausland from St. Joe’s.
