Ole Miss hosts former Florida receiver Thai Chiaokhiao-Bowman for official visit
OXFORD, Miss. – Lane Kiffin and the Ole Miss football staff are only a couple of pieces away from finalizing their 2024 roster following the close of the second transfer portal window. According to his Twitter account, wide receiver Thai Chiaokhiao-Bowman, a Florida transfer, was in town this Tuesday for a visit.

In 2022, the 6-foot-1, 200-pound wide receiver played in all 12 games on special teams for the Gators and was used as a reserve wide receiver. Chiaokhiao-Bowman closed the season with seven catches for 138 yards, averaging 19.7 yards per catch.
This past year, the Minneapolis, Minn. native battled many injuries and was forced to redshirt, leaving him with three years of eligibility for wherever he may decide to play in 2024.

Despite lacking statistical production, Chiaokhiao-Bowman has all of the traits to be developed into a versatile and underrated threat in the talented Ole Miss passing game. He runs crips routes and has an abundance of athleticism, both of which he’s displayed at the Division One level.
