Rebels Recruiting Check: Ole Miss Football Set to Host Four 2025 Prospects Tuesday
OXFORD, Miss. — Ole Miss football will continue spring practices this week while also hosting more recruits as the week moves on. As of noon on Monday, our sources indicate there will be four top players in town Tuesday.
Timothy Merritt – 2025
Merritt is a four-star cornerback/safety with a 6’2, 180-pound frame. Nearly a month ago, the Birmingham, Ala. native released a top-12 list, including a wide variety of SEC schools such as Auburn, LSU, Florida, Tennessee, Texas, Ole Miss, and more.

“I’ve had a feeling but today felt right.”

While Auburn will likely be the team to beat for Merritt, with defensive coordinator Pete Golding at the helm of the unit, the Rebs will have several opportunities to land a commitment.
Kenzy West – 2025
Mississippi native Kenzy West attends Hartfield Academy just outside of Jackson, Mississippi. West is a three-star athlete who can play both wide receiver and corner, but it appears that the majority of schools are recruiting him as a wide receiver.
West stands at 6’0 tall, weighs 180 pounds, and runs a 4.5 40-yard dash, which is simply an electric 40 time. Between his strength, explosive ability, and speed, West has the potential to be an SEC stud by the time he arrives in college.

TI Mims Jr.- 2025
Mims Jr. is another three-star wide receiver who is already being recognized by schools like LSU, Texas A&M, Ole Miss, USC, and Tennessee. After watching his film, it is clear that TI is an elite route runner with quick feet and a great deal of speed.
Mims is 5’11, 170 pounds, but plays as if he carries a much larger frame. Despite being targeted by almost every SEC school, Ole Miss is in a fantastic position and will look to expand on their relationship with Mims Jr. as soon as he arrives in Oxford.

Brock Coffman – 2025
Coffman is another ‘25 prospect who is by far one of the most underrated wide receivers in the class. According to his HUDL, Brock played both sides of the ball as a junior and collected 1,200 receiving yards while catching 24 touchdowns.

Coffman attends Sayre School in Lexington, Kentucky, and is predicted to be heavily pursued by Kentucky throughout his senior year. Yet again, Ole Miss is establishing an early relationship with Coffman, putting the Rebels at the top of his recruitment moving forward.
