The Stallions

The Birmingham Stallions were the top of the league in 2023, finishing with an 8-2 regular season record and defeating the Pittsburgh Maulers 28-12 in the championship.

The Stallions were led last season by quarterback Alex McGough, who played his college football at Florida International University. After a season that saw him throw for 2,105 yards and 20 touchdowns and take home MVP honors, McGough signed with the NFL’s Green Bay Packers.

At the end of 2023, the XFL and USFL announced they were merging, forming a new league known as the United Football League, or UFL. The Stallions will look to Corral to keep their success in the young UFL going.

Corral and the Stallions will kick off the season on March 30, 2024.

Best of luck to Matt!
