Ole Miss pitcher JT Quinn helping raise money this spring to “Strike Out Breast Cancer”
OXFORD, Miss. — Ole Miss starting pitcher JT Quinn and Riverland Roofing are partnering this spring to help breast cancer patients, working together to raise money to help “Strike Out Breast Cancer.”
Every time Ole Miss baseball throws a strikeout, Riverland Roofing will donate to the Baptist Memorial Cancer Center of North Mississippi, in addition to an individual contribution from Quinn after every strikeout he throws.
As stated on a Twitter post from Riverland Roofing, Quinn’s great-grandmother fought breast cancer three separate times before passing away a few years ago. Besides his donations, JT will also wear a pink and black glove to further display his care for breast cancer awareness.
