Major 2025 Ole Miss target Akylin Dear receives Under Armour All-American Game bid
OXFORD, Miss. — Mississippi native and 2025 running back Akylin Dear received an official invite to the Under Armour All-American game after displaying his incredible skillset earlier today at an Under Armour combine in Georgia.

Following the combine, here is what Dear told 247 Sports writer Rion Young:.
“It feels great to come out here and get the invite. Last time I came out, I felt like I didn’t do great, so it feels great to come back out here.“

Akylin attends Quitman (Miss.) High School, which is approximately three hours southeast of the Ole Miss campus. This past season, the 6-foot-1, 200-pounder piled on 2,106 rushing yards, 27 rushing touchdowns, and three passing touchdowns.
In addition to that from Ole Miss, the talented back has offers from: Mississippi State, Alabama, Arizona, Auburn, Colorado, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, Louisville, Miami, Michigan State, Oregon, Penn State, South Carolina, Southern Miss, Stanford, Tennessee, Texas, A&M, USC, and Utah, among others.
Fortunately for the Rebels, after Lane Kiffin and his staff visited Dear twice in January, that helped lead to the athlete’s appearance at Ole Miss’ Junior Day in early February.

As for what schools are turning up their communication, Dear told Rion Young that three have stood out to him. “Mississippi State, they’re getting closer to me. Ole Miss and Texas,” said Dear.
