Former Michigan cornerback Amorion Walker commits to Ole Miss
OXFORD, Miss. — While the temps may be dropping and the snow has filled the campus, Lane Kiffin and his Ole Miss staff continue to be red hot on the recruiting trail as the Rebels gained a commit from Michigan cornerback Amorion Walker Wednesday.

This past weekend the Rebels hosted some top transfers, reeling in some additional big playmakers as South Alabama Safety Yam Banks and former VA Tech TE Dae’ Quan Wright both committed. The momentum continues as the Lane Train adds Walker to the team.
Walker’s athletic abilities are off the charts.
Lane Kiffin & Ole Miss are getting an elite athlete in 6-3 1/2 CB Amorion Walker. Was No. 12 on the Freaks List. Last offseason he clocked a mind-blowing 6.10 in the 3-cone drill. Also vertical jumped 42 1/2 inches and ran 4.34 40: https://t.co/4bqHQeV0tqhttps://t.co/4bqHQeV0tq

The 6-foot-4, 190-pound Louisiana native entered the portal last Thursday. Walker is a former three-star out of Ponchatoula High School where he played wide receiver. During his final season, he helped his team to a 12-1 record and runner up for the Louisiana 5A State title.
He was ranked as the No. 22 player in the state of Louisiana.
The incredibly shifty wide receiver skillset took him to Ann Arbor where he was eventually converted to play corner for head coach Jim Harbaurgh’s Wolverines.
Walker saw little time as a wideout in his freshman season, but he was the talk of spring ball in 2023 when he made the switch to cornerback. He was called ‘a unicorn’ by Coach Harbaugh, and Michigan sources report that no other individual player drew as many headlines in the offseason as Walker. Unfortunately, those injuries precluded him from seeing the field early.
Amorion Walker with a hand-timed 6.10-second three-cone drill. Would be the fastest time in NFL Draft Scouting Combine history 👀👀

He saw action in six games where he notched a total of 66 snaps, all on defense. Injury kept him out of Michigan’s college football playoff games.
Walker comes to Oxford with two years of eligibility remaining. Look for a healthy Walker to be a big addition to the Ole Miss secondary. Hotty Toddy!
