OXFORD, Miss. – The No. 23 Ole Miss women’s basketball team ended a three-game homestand to open the season with an 80-63 win over the Temple Owls on Wednesday.
Ole Miss (2-1, 0-0 SEC) jumped out quickly on the Owls to open the game. At the 5:35 mark of the first quarter, the Rebels were up 11-2.
Ole Miss was led on offense by KK Deans and Kharyssa Richardson who each notched 16 points. Two other teammates reach double figures in Marquesha Davis (13) and Snudda Collins (10).

Temple stayed in the game by getting to the charity stripe, going 10-for-12 in the first half. From beyond the arc, Temple went 2-for-11.
