Notes and Notables from the Rebels’ big 28-21 win over Auburn
AUBURN — Here are notes and notables from the Rebels’ 28-21 road win over Auburn. Tonight’s victory is Ole Miss’ first at Auburn since 2015, its first against Auburn in consecutive seasons since 1951-52, and only its fourth win ever at Auburn.

• RG Jeremy James made his 43rd consecutive start, also the 43rd start of his career … Other double-digit streaks included CB Deantre Prince (22), QB Jaxson Dart (18), OL Micah Pettus (16), OL Caleb Warren (16) and RB Quinshon Judkins (13).
• Rebels with 30 or more career starts who also started today include James (43), Warren (38) and Prince (30).
• DL Joshua Harris made his first career start at Ole Miss, second of his career.
• DT Jamond Gordon made his first start of the season and second of his career.

• Attendance for tonight’s game was 88,043.
• Ole Miss is now 5-0 this season when scoring first.
Offensive notes
• QB Jaxson Dart went 10-for-17 on the night for 202 passing yards and a passing touchdown to finish with 246 total offensive yards and three touchdowns.
• On the ground, Dart ended with 44 yards on 14 carries and two touchdowns … He passed the 1,000 yard mark for his career, currently standing at 1,003 career rushing yards, with 960 of those yards coming as a Rebel.
• Dart’s two rushing touchdowns tonight pushes him to nine in his career, seven of which have come as a Rebel and six have come this season … Dart also tied his single-game career high with two rushing touchdowns.
• Dart now owns 7,170 career yards of total offense and 5,774 yards as a Rebel, which currently puts him at No. 10 in Ole Miss history … Dart also now has 51 total touchdowns responsible for in his career, including 40 at Ole Miss.
• In the second quarter, Dart threw just his third interception of the season and his first since the third quarter against Alabama, a string of 82 consecutive pass attempts without a pick.
• RB Quinshon Judkins tallied 124 yards and one touchdown on the ground on 21 carries … He is now tied for third in Ole Miss history with 10 career 100-yard games.
• Judkins’ rushing touchdown tonight moves him into a tie for sixth all-time at Ole Miss in all-purpose touchdowns … He also now holds sole possession of fifth all-time with 23 rushing touchdowns.
• WR Zakhari Franklin caught two passes for 15 yards and a touchdown, his first touchdown in a Rebel uniform … He has now caught a pass in 49 consecutive games played, the third-longest streak in the FBS.
• Franklin’s touchdown added to his lead atop the FBS active career touchdowns list with 38.
• TE Caden Prieskorn ended with 63 receiving yards on two receptions, a career high in an Ole Miss uniform … Prieskorn’s 34-yard catch in the first quarter stands as an Ole Miss career high.
• Prieskorn’s 63 yards is the most by an Ole Miss tight end since Casey Kelly put up 81 yards on seven catches at Auburn in 2021.
• Ole Miss’ opening scoring drive of 6:07 stands as the longest by the Rebel offense this season.
• Ole Miss’ fourth drive of the second half of 90 yards that ended with a Dart rushing TD stands as the longest by the Rebel offense this season.
Defensive notes
• Ole Miss held Auburn to 275 yards of total offense … Combined with holding Arkansas to 286 yards on Oct. 7, this marks the first time Ole Miss has held consecutive SEC opponents to fewer than 300 yards since Nov. 14, 2009 vs. Tennessee (275) and Nov. 21, 2009 vs. LSU (290).
• Ole Miss shut down Auburn to just 122 yards passing, the fewest by a Rebel opponent since holding Baylor to 40 in the 2022 Sugar Bowl, and the fewest against an SEC opponent since holding Mississippi State to 108 on Nov. 28, 2019.
• Ole Miss ended with two pass interceptions … Combined with two picks against Arkansas on Oct. 7, this marks the first time since the 2021 season that the Rebels have picked off multiple passes in consecutive games (3, vs. Liberty, Nov. 6, 2021; 2, vs. Texas A&M, Nov. 13, 2021).
• This marks the first time Ole Miss has recorded multiple interceptions in back-to-back SEC games since doing so in three straight in 2014 at Texas A&M (2, Oct. 11), vs. Tennessee (3, Oct. 18) and at LSU (2, Oct. 25).
• LB Jeremiah Jean-Baptiste led the Rebels with seven total tackles, six being solo, and tied his career high for tackles for loss with two.
• LB Ashanti Cistrunk ended with three tackles, two being solo, in his 55th consecutive game played in as many opportunities in his career.
• S John Saunders Jr. ended with a total of three tackles and his second interception as a Rebel, seventh of his career.
• DE Jared Ivey brought down his third sack of the season for a loss of five yards to finish with two tackles on the night.
• CB Zamari Walton picked off his fifth career pass, his second as a Rebel.
• DE Cedric Johnson and DE Isaac Ukwu combined on a sack, pushing Johnson to 15.0 in his career and Ukwu to 20.0 … Johnson is Ole Miss’ active career leader.
Special teams notes
• P Fraser Masin ended the night with five punts for 193 yards (38.6 avg.), including two inside the 20.
• K Caden Davis’ five kickoffs were all touchbacks … Davis went a perfect 4-for-4 on PAT kicks.
