2024 in-state wide receiver Sanfrisco Magee chooses Rebels over Mississippi State
OXFORD, Miss. — The Rebels went two-for-two Friday evening as they earned the commitment of Oregon State grad transfer running back Jam Griffin and 2024 in-state wide receiver Sanfrisco Magee.
While Magee had widely been predicted to become a Mississippi State commit, the 3-star out of McComb, Miss. took to social media Friday evening to officially announce his intention to become a Rebel.

Despite being an in-state prospect, Magee’s first visit to Oxford did not come until just six days ago when he took in Juice Fest, 2023, the Rebels’ big recruiting weekend of the summer. Of course, the post-visit chatter had that team down in Starkville scurrying to step it up.

However, like a dark horse lurking in the back stretch Magee shut the rumor mill down and decided he would be staying home — as a Rebel, not a Bulldog.
Magee is a player who may not have had a ton of buzz surrounding him before now, but he has shown why he’s a great pickup for the Rebels.
