Ole Miss adds FAU transfer third baseman Jackson Ross
OXFORD, Miss. — Ole Miss added a big commitment from Florida Atlantic transfer third baseman Jackson Ross on Monday. His commit comes immediately on the heels of the announcement that Arizona State transfer shortstop Luke Hill had pledged to the Rebels.
The 6-foot-2, 200-pound Ross hit .345 with 14 homers (second on the team) for FAU last season. He tallied 58 RBIs (third on the team) and had a 1.042 OPS for the Owls in 2023.

Ross, the only FAU player to start all 59 games at the same position last year, was named C-USA First Team All-Conference.
He led the team with 26 multi-hit games in 2023 and homered in six of the final eight games of the season, including twice in the C-USA Tournament.
Thus far through the portal, the Rebels have added pitchers Liam Doyle (Coastal Carolina), Kyler Carmack (Arkansas State) and Connor Spencer (Southeastern), along with the aforementioned Luke Hill, transfer infielder Andrew Fischer (Duke) and outfielder Treyson Hughes (Mercer).
