Weaver has very good touch that he displayed on many threes (40.8% on C&S threes) and runners (51% on 29 attempts). Other teams to reach out include Texas, Texas Tech, Texas A&M, SMU, and many others.

Handlogten was a very good big in transition and can be a rim running threat at almost any school. One of the things that helped with Marshall was its pace. Micah excelled beating opposing bigs to the lane. A very good rebounder, solid motor and always finds a way to get his hands on the ball, his length really shines here cause he can tip the ball around and still can get rebounds without having elite position. His dad is a very big guy who played in the NBA;  he looked a lot bigger than when he got to Marshall. It’s not out of the realm of possibility to think he can put on more weight.

At Marshall his rebounding/rim protection stood out early on, but he really learned and gained confidence as the year went on. Largely was utilized as a roll man on offense, which is where he really can shine. Has good hands and made some plays that really ‘wow.’ He has good spatial awareness around the rim and upped his finishing throughout the year.  Defensively, he can step out and guard the perimeter better than most centers can but is also a good rim protector. He will look to improve on discipline defensively with another year and offseason under his belt.

Update 4/4: Handlogten released a top 8 schools list. Ole Miss was not amongst the schools mentioned and he will take a visit to Florida.

Le’Tre Darthard (Utah Valley) – Committed to Oklahoma

Ole Miss is one of the top schools mentioned with the Utah Valley transfer. On the season, Darthard averaged 13.8 PPG, 3.5 REB, and 1.2 STL. Darthard is also a tremendous shooter over his career and has a 37.8 3PT% and averaged 88.9% from the line.  Prior to spending the last three seasons at Utah Valley, Darthard spent a season at McCook Community College in Nebraska.

It’s worth noting here that Utah Valley Coach Mark Madsen left to take the job at Cal recently. Since entering Cal is one of the schools to reach out. Others to reach out are SMU, Loyola Chicago, Seton Hall, and many more.

Update 4/27: Darthard committed to Oklahoma.
