Ole Miss Football: February Signing Day Updates
OXFORD, Miss. — Ole Miss enters Wednesday’s February 1 National Signing Day ready to add to the players who signed in the early signing period in December and to those who have transferred in.

While there are not expected to be many signees today, due to those who have already signed, Ole Miss does look to fill some areas of need, notably on the defensive line.

HIGH SCHOOL: Unanimous three-star prospect by all major recruiting outlets … Rated a top-100 edge defender by 247Composite (No. 64), On3 (No. 52) and ESPN (No. 78) … Rated as the No. 63 prospect in Florida by On3 … Two-time South Florida Sun Sentinel Defensive Player of the Year … Holds two-year varsity career combined totals of 209 tackles (72 solo), 52.0 sacks, 53.0 tackles for loss, 86 quarterback hurries, seven forced fumbles, seven fumble recoveries, two interceptions and one interception return TD … Coming off senior season in which he broke the school record for sacks with 32.5, averaging 3.0 per game … Total stat line in 2022 included 117 total tackles (46 solo), 32.5 sacks, 27.5 tackles for loss, 41 QB hurries, four forced fumbles, four fumble recoveries and one interception that was returned for a touchdown … Played in only nine games his junior year in 2021 due to a broken wrist, but recovered to put up a stat line of 92 total tackles (26 solo), 25.5 tackles, 19.5 sacks, 45 QB hurries, three forced fumbles, three fumble recoveries and one interception … Wore No. 6 at Pahokee, which had been retired in honor of longtime NFL receiver, Anquan Boldin … Chose Ole Miss over UCF, Pitt, Louisville, Penn State, Colorado, among others … Coached by Emmanuel Hendrix.

HIGH SCHOOL: Three-star prospect by On3, 247 and Rivals … Rated a top-100 edge defender by Rivals (No. 40), On3 (No. 46) and 247 (No. 86) … Recorded 45 tackles, 15 tackles for loss, eight sacks, one forced fumble, one fumble recovery and 14 QB hurries his senior year … Helped lead Spartans to Class 2M semifinal … Transferred to Lakewood his junior year from Shorecrest Prep … Also lettered in basketball … Chose Ole Miss over Miami, Auburn, Florida State, Michigan State, among others … Coached by Denis Gillen.

JUNIOR COLLEGE: Three-star JUCO prospect by On3, 247 and Rivals …Rated as a top-10 JUCO offensive tackle prospect by both the 247 (No. 9) and 247Composite (No. 10) rankings … Also ranked as the No. 28 JUCO offensive tackle by Rivals … No. 23 overall national JUCO prospect according to 247, No. 5 in the state of California … Chose Ole Miss over Auburn, Oklahoma State, among others … Coached by Mike Darr.
WYOMING: Was a member of the Cowboys’ football team in 2020 and 2021 … Did not see any playing time during his two seasons at Wyoming.
HIGH SCHOOL: Three-star recruit according to 247Sports … Helped lead Clayton Valley Charter to a 10-5 record in 2019 and the school’s first-ever state title … Played on both the offensive and defensive line … Helped lead an offensive line that rushed for 288 yards per game for the season.
