Four-star offensive lineman JacQawn McRoy puts Ole Miss in his top 10
OXFORD, Miss. — While 2024 recruits are now officially on the clock, so to speak, the relationship-building and recruiting for many of the nation’s top athletes has been going on for quite some time. In fact, many — like Clay-Chalkville High School’s four-star offensive tackle JacQawn McRoy — are starting to narrow down their list of top schools.
This past week, McRoy took to Twitter to narrow down the top 10 schools he will be focusing on heading into the spring — and the Rebs have made the cut. He also includes: Auburn, Miami, Kentucky, Florida, Georgia, Oregon, LSU, Tennessee and Arkansas.

At a commanding 6-foot-8, 350 pounds, McRoy already looks like he could be playing at the NFL level.

Ole Miss offered McRoy on January 18. He is one of the most sought-after recruits in the 2024 cycle and ranks as the No.5 offensive tackle in Alabama and the No. 8 at any position in the state per 247Sports.
Like many of the country’s top players, McRoy is a versatile athlete who also plays basketball for Clay-Chalkville.

Although he’s a big-bodied young man, he is also quick and extremely agile.
