Former Ole Miss QB Chad Kelly leads Toronto Argonauts to CFL Grey Cup win
Former Ole Miss quarterback Chad Kelly came off the bench for Toronto and led a championship comeback as his Argonauts defeated the Winnipeg Blue Bombers, 24-23, for the CFL Grey Cup title.
With Toronto QB McLeod Bethel-Thompson injured, the team turned to Kelly.
It looks like Chad Kelly is coming in now for the #Argos at QB. That's strange. It hasn't been MBT's best game, but he hasn't been way off. I wonder if he's ok. #CFL #Bombers #GreyCup2022

He calmly led the Argonauts to victory — denying the Bombers a third straight Grey Cup.
Kelly finished 4-of-6 passing for 43 yards and took control when it mattered most, also adding in a 20-yard run. This will look familiar to Ole Miss fans who watched “Swag” use his legs as well as his arm when he directed the Rebels.

The Argonauts scored the final 10 points of the game, after trailing 23-14 in the fourth quarter following a 102-yard punt return by Winnipeg’s Janorian Grant.

And this is probably one of Kelly’s favorite formations — the victory formation.
