Ole Miss transfers Jaxson Dart, Michael Trigg trained at 3DQB in Texas over the weekend
OXFORD, Miss. — Ole Miss head coach Lane Kiffin and the Rebels finished with the No. 2-ranked transfer class in the nation this year, and a huge part of that is due to the addition of USC transfers quarterback Jaxson Dart and tight end Michael Trigg.
The two have certainly wasted no time working on their craft. This past weekend, Dart and Trigg traveled to Texas to train with 3DQB at Lovejoy High School outside of Dallas.
Recruiting Analyst Cole Patterson on Dart and Trigg
We had a chance to visit with Cole Patterson, recruiting analyst and reporter for Orangebloods.com, who was at 3DQB this weekend and covered quarterback Dart and tight end Trigg, among other top players in attendance.
“I had the opportunity to watch new Ole Miss quarterback and receiver Michael Trigg go through a couple of training sessions with 3DQB in the Dallas, Texas, area over the weekend,” Patterson said.
“3DQB trains the likes of Dak Prescott, Matthew Stafford, and several other NFL, college, and high school quarterbacks around the nation. Dart has been training with the crew in California to improve his mechanics and overall game,” Patterson added.

Patterson likes what he sees from the transfer QB from USC.
“Dart is a very impressive player with an extraordinary arm talent. He is able to put the ball where he wants it to be and can make accurate throws at all three levels of the field.“

Patterson is also impressed with Rebels’ new tight end.
“Trigg, meanwhile, is an athletic pass catcher, and his basketball background shows up in a big way when he highpoints the ball.”

SEC Swagger
While Ole Miss fans have not yet had the opportunity to get to know Dart and Trigg, they should like what they see as Patterson believes the two could become fan favorites.
“What stood out to me immediately is how easy to root for the two of them are. Both have great personalities and have a swagger to them.”

Patterson also offered some insight into why Dart and Trigg, who were heavily recruited after entering the transfer portal, ultimately picked Oxford.
“The two mentioned the attraction of playing against the high-level competition and in the crazy atmospheres that the SEC provides as a big reason why they chose Ole Miss,” Patterson said.
