Ole Miss ranked No. 5 in D1 Baseball Preseason Top 25
OXFORD, Miss. – Ole Miss baseball is ranked No. 5 in the D1 Baseball Preseason Top 25 that was released Tuesday.

This marks the highest preseason ranking this year for the Rebels and the highest since head coach Mike Bianco’s team was No. 4 in Baseball America’s preseason poll last season.
Joining Ole Miss in the top five are three other Southeastern Conference schools: Arkansas (2), Vanderbilt (3) and Mississippi State (4).

Thus far for the upcoming season, the Rebels have been ranked No. 19 by Collegiate Baseball and No. 10 by Perfect Game.
Ole Miss, who returns eight of nine positional starters, finished ranked No. 13 in D1Baseball’s final poll for last season. Among the returners is D1Baseball All-American and Freshman of the Year Jacob Gonzalez.
